Raw black is the way the kit comes out of the machine, it might have some minor imperfections that can be taken care of during prep. It is ideal for wrapping, or perfect for the do it yourselfer who will paint it him/herself.
Primer is an undercoat is a preparatory coating put on materials before painting. Priming ensures better adhesion of paint to the surface, increases paint durability, and provides additional protection for the material being painted.
We use a grey 2K Primer for all our parts.
The sleek splitter is a thin flat sheet of ABS while the non-sleek are thermoformed into shape.
The Biggest difference is that the sleek splitter is only 3/16″ thick while the non sleek is about 2″ thick.
Lift the front hood of your car and on the front locate the white and black label. There you will find either 3 or 4 characters. That is your paint code.
